It didn’t remind me that the license will expire. It sent that information into my email, I didn’t look’t there so… once in December I sow that Avast icon have a red cross on it.
No problem I said to myself and because I had no money on my bank account in that month, I done it today.
Well… the price for one year license / person was 29.99 € or something like that. I fill out all those “things” and after that I sow that Avast had took out…
Product Name: avast! Internet Security - 1 PC, 1 Year
Qty Ordered: 1
Amount: $49.99
Subtotal: $49.99
Discount: -
VAT: $7.50
Total Price: $57.49
I am…
Tell you what…
Either or… Avast give me back the difference to 29.99 €, or after one year I will say bye forever to Avast.
I sow that Avast in the last 2-3 mounts, it react no more when a virus is on my pc. I (me,myself) should realize from the behavior of the system, that something is going on.
So… in the last 2,3-4 months after scanning was found 10 viruses ( 2 of them in 09.2013 ). Real time protection is WEAK !
No reaction from Avast against some types of malware, “adware”, spyware… although some av-softwares found its as malicious.
I had a big problem few months ago, when download and internet(ping) speed was down to 35 %. Avast said that “No problems found”
“Everything is good” and so on… I had to resolve that issue alone and the first step was Spyware Doctor. I had no license for Doc but with the infos he gave to my was very useful. After installing more than 5-6 anti…software finally I found one who found 6-8 malware and “unlock” the hole
process( if I can say so… : ), right after that Avast found a virus but was not enough. I got back to Doc infos and after a long search I found an application witch restored up to 85-90 % speed witch is normally 16 Mbps.
It didn't remind me that the license will expire. It sent that information into my email, I didn't look't there so
Don't say it didn't remind you while it did. avast is not responsible for checking your mail, you are.
No money is no excuse. You could have reverted to the free version.
Ofcourse it didn’t react anymore. Your license had expired and therefor protection stopped.
Why didn’t you asked for help here? http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
There is no application that can detect all malware.
Yes, it can be other software is detecting something while avast doesn’t.
But it is also the other way.
avast detect things that others don’t.
It DID NOT ! Not in the way it dose 2 years ago when I had the free version, through that pop-up right corner of the screen(down). I didn’t wanted to “revert” to the free version, I just forgot that the license will expire and I hoped that Avast will inform me >:(
You didn’t read my post well… ??? I said…
So… more exactly that was happening in October, when the license was NOT expired.
And IF… the license expires, why Avast leave people without protection ( how YOU said… quote “Your license had expired and therefor protection stopped” ), just because of money !? , Why Avast didn’t turn itself into free modus with protection ON ? just because of money !? Speaking of money… I want my money back, the difference to 29.99 €… otherwise I will leave Avast forever.
Because I didn’t knew that that’s exist.
Oh there are some AV’s, but its are too “crazy” if I can say so… like Panda I had 4 years ago, or Comodo. Some of them are so aggressive, you can’t use almost no application from your pc.
