As a avast! user i am so frustrated to see the offers on the gui of avast! free and avast! should think to give a option to free users also to uncheck the popup offers for other avast! products.Because avast! is big famous for its free version of antivirus :)It will give more user to decided if they want popups or not?If i have interest in paid product then i go to “GREEN”"UPGRADE"button to do so 8)So no need of AD’S in free antivirus.

Why start another topic to ask a question that has been asked and answered many, many times.
I couldn’t care less about Ads in the GUI as that is the least intrusive location, I don’t live in the GUI, my rare ventures into there are to capture images for helping other avast users. Otherwise I don’t open it much at all.
The popups are a different story and that too has been asked and answered many, many times.
Hi!David. But Why the phones app ad in pc version?

That should be obvious, they are promoting other avast products that you may benefit from.
The fact that don’t really know if you have a mobile phone (very possible) and an android one to boot (still a strong possibility) and mobile phones need protection/cleanup too.
Yes i agree. But in my view if it not stop tottaly then they should less the ad or give free users the freedom of choose like paid users at least

These ads in the UI really are unobtrusive, this is the way it use to be years ago.
The other popups - If you want the choice then you know what to do get the paid program get the option or enable silent/gaming mode.
How do you think those that have a paid product would feel if the free version also had the ability to eliminate the ads, yes not particularly happy to say the least.
I have to agree with David as I have a PAID version (Avast Premier) installed on one OS
I would suggest just spend less time viewing the GUI. As for popups, David has suggested ‘silent, gaming’ setting.
Or just click the “x” and be done with it.

That is what I do and it takes a second or so from appearance, this would be a pain if you were playing a game and as I said silent/gaming mode would be the option for when gaming.

You are kidding aren’t you? There need to be differences between free and paid otherwise no one would ever purchase the product.
Without paying customers, the program would never be improved etc, etc.
The nice folks that work for Avast would also like to get paid.

If you run full screen application then no popup should appear. Let me know if it happens.
Thx
