AVAST POPUP HISTORY LOG LOCATION PLEASE

Where is the Avast Popup History Log Location, name, etc.

Need access to previous POPUP HISTORY for security concerns.

Hi jstm3

There is no pop-up history log.
But you can always find the last popup message by right-clicking on the Avast taskbar icon, and select Show last popup message.

Thanks, I see that now.

However, when there’s been multiple Security Popups what should one do in determining if it merits further investigation them further?

I simply would feel more at ease I some how I could have a historical record of these.

Depends what they are, if just a url block i guess no need if you dont own the website.
And if avast have detected/removed files result should be in chest (quarantine)
There is also a log folder at c:\program files\avast …

Two areas to look at the Web Shield log (for web related alert) and the file system shield log (for local system alerts).

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\report WinXP OS location.
or
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report Win7 and later OS location.
