I can’t find Combofix.txt, it reported some name issues because the first downloaded file was corrupted, then the 2nd one had the name Combofix(1).exe. Should I run it again, now it’s only one

I started Chrome few times, so far no new alerts

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:
Click Start then Run.
On Windows7 or Vista you may use Start Search field if Run is not available.
In the box copy/paste the following command:
ComboFix /Uninstall
Note that there is a space between " ComboFix " and " /Uninstall " .
Then click OK (or press Enter ).
Wait for the uninstall process to complete.

hi there. this is my 1st post, i am rubbish with computers and seem to have the same problem as the op. i have downloaded malwarebytes, and the adware program on this thread. ran both and the popup is still happening every time i open or refresh a browser window. any help appreciated , thanks
