Avast Premier 2015 Protection keeps turning off

Hello everyone,

A couple of times I have had this, and it still carries on so I hope this has been solved, if someone can direct me to the solution, I would be most appreciative.

I turn back on my shields after finding them turned off, I then do a whole system scan for any infections and such, got some, removed them and restarted my system for the effects. After computer is up and running the shields are off again, and attempt to turn them back on again.

I have uninstalled Avast and reinstalled it again, the shields were back on and had stayed on, had no problems for about a month or so, today I find my shields have turned off again, and I come to the forum to have the best to give me some sort of solution.

AVAST! Premier 2015

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS, Service Pack 1

I own AVAST GrimeFighter, don’t have any other security software

- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?
I went straight to AVAST Premium, I think it was 2013 or 2014 after I had a whole system wipe and reinstalled the OS.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
