I’m using windows 8.1 and I have a problem with my Avast premier.
First of all it doesn’t load details after I press Notifications>Details. (It shows loading screen and that’s it)
Second, when I right click file and press scan it shows loading and I don’t know if it is scanned because it keeps showing the “Loading…” screen.
Third, when I go Protection>Antivirus it STILL shows “loading…” screen and I can’t scan with my costume scans.
And last one, it takes about half an hour to make a smart scan because it stops at 14-15 % for a long time and when it is done it doesnt show me results or anything like that.

I tried deleting avast and reinstalling it and even repairing it but it didn’t help.
Hope someone can help me. :‘( :’(

Did you use avastclear when deleting avast ?

I used AV free one .

No I had premier AV than I downloaded one more installation file from www.avast.com and installed it…

  1. Download Avast Premier Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_premier_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

Start Windows in Safe Mode ← What is that , and when I execute the avastcleaner do I need to restart and install Avast or execute the avastcleaner, install Avast and only then restart.

Run the uninstaller in normal mode, it should ask to start/run in safe mode.

Yep, get rid of both.

Advanced System Protector and Launch One System Care = IOBit crap.

Perhaps first run a thorough cleanup with help of one of the malware removers first.
