Avast premier licence not working

Hello friends,

I have bought a licence from an online reseller for Avast Premier, it was working fine for some time but few days ago Avast wanted to restart for some kind of update, and since then it has downgraded itself to free program. When I go to the My licence drop down menu, and when I try to enter the activation code, it just says that something went wrong.

Could you please be kind enough to help me out?

Thank you friend. I took care when purchasing it, as I bought the licence from a person who had sold more than a thousand of them on eBay, and he had the same number of positive feedbacks.
But you may be right, as I went again to see his offers on eBay, he is no longer existing. :-\
