Avast Premier v.9.0.2013 Crashed my Windows 7 Ultimate after reboot

FIX THIS!

I bought a fully licensed Avast Premier and it crashes my workstation from the welcome/login screen!

Do you have a solution / patch for this issue?

Avast team, provide a proper installation procedure for WIN 7 Ultimate carrying a previous Avast installation. Resolve this issue with your software and inform me right away. Otherwise I will have to file a report dispute and refund what I payed for with your software.

OS: 64bit
No other software for security aside from AVAST
I only use AVAST PRO from the past. The license had expired the other day so I purchased the Premier.

  1. Download avast! Premier Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_premier_antivirus_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

I’ve done this twice mate. Same problem. Any other solution?
