Avast Premier

I renewed my license with Avast a few days ago and decide to get the Premier. BIG MISTAKE. On my HP PC, at least, it wiped out my network adapter and locked me out of the internet. I followed the instructions to the letter when I chose this new product with my renewal. Today, I had an IT tech at my home to undo the damage and retrieve my adapters and reconfigure my wireless which was affected, negatively by Avast Premier. I’m out $144.99 to Avast and $120.00 for the IT tech. I’ve spoken with people who have had issues with Avast in the past and they informed me my chances of getting any money back are nil. On to a new anti virus; not Norton since that cause more headaches than it solves.

If I’m the only one who was unlucky, all the better. If your renewal is coming up, do not take the premier. Any rave reviews must have been planted by Avast’s marketing and sales dept.
