Today I am unable to type anything in Google chrome without an alert popping up even one letter and an alert pops up. This is completely pathetic and has rendered Chrome unusable. It wasn’t doing this yesterday. Any advice or help?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member. I don’t use Chrome so I’m not experiencing the issue you report.

Drag & Drop
- Create a screenshot on your computer and save it locally. Using windows explorer or other file management program, drag and drop into your post.
It would have been better/easier just to drag and drop it into the post, that way you aren’t leaving the topic to view the image (as I have here).
I would be looking for any new add-on in Chrome related to SafeSearchPilot App as it isn’t Chrome that has the problem with but appears to be this this app connecting to the SafeSearchPilot site.

There are possibilities, the URL could have been removed from the virus definations/urls after investigation by Avast.
However, it is still very strange why you were getting these Alerts if you didn’t knowingly install Safe Search in the first place.
