Hello, I’m having trouble installing avast premium security on my new laptop. I have downloaded 4 times now, run it clicked Yes and it says installing but at the end nothing happens. I have this on a PC and no problems. I checked if it would run on the new laptop and it all checks out. I uninstalled all other products relating to security ( I thought another program might be blocking it) but still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Do you have any other security software installed (other than Windows Defender)?
If you do, make sure you completely remove it using the vendors removal tool, before attempting to install Avast.
Once your system is clean (except Windows Defender) try dowloading the offline installation file and running that.
