After I upgraded Avast yesterday, I have an issue where if I try to download a certain file, the download is aborted just as it’s about to be completed. Chrome spits out a “unknown server error”. IE says “the connection with the server has been severed and needs to be reestablished”.

Nevermind. I found the problem. Turns out Avast was identifying the executable in the download as a false positive. I had Avast’s silent mode on, so it wasn’t telling me what was going on.
