Avast Pro didn't detect Trojan Horse in *.exe using Explorer Extension scan

Hello members and guests
When I tried scanning *.exe file with Explorer Extension plug-in, avast didn’t detect Trojan horse! :frowning:
When I tried to execute mentioned file detection was quick. :-\

Just to say that my Ewido & Bit Defender Explorer Extension scans detected Trojan embedded in exe file!

WHY?? >:(

What trojan was detected on execution? What was the filename?

That’s scary. :o

I ususally download files using Internet download manager and scan them using the explorer extenstion.

Trojan’s name was

  • Win32:Trojano-2933[Trj]
    File name was
  • run.exe

OK, this particular file was indeed not detected because the self-extracting ZIP archive is rather strange (manually crafted, I’d say) and the internal ZIP unpacker wasn’t able to unpack it correctly.
The problem will be fixed in the next program update (released in a few days).

Thanks.
Glad I could be of assistance

Wow… will we have a beta phase as usual? Any other new features or only corrections?
