Ok this is the SECOND time this has happened and it’s really pissing me off, I came home from work to find out that my Avast had decided to unprotect my pc, I have a year subscription with pro that SUPPOSEDLY says I can have it on 4 devices? Well my pc and laptop are only two, I have to freaking boot into safe mode and repair the damn program to fix it because it just doesn’t work at this point and there is NOTHING I can do but what I just said. Does anyone else run into this problem? Can you guys make it so I don’t HAVE to access safe mode on my pc to fix your crap, getting as bad as norton with that stuff.
Repair doesn’t work in safe mode, only in normal mode.
What exact OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)
Already performed a clean installation of avast ?
Any other (minor) problems with the system ?
Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed
