hi vik or avast techs i would like to know if this is still true about avast pro license, Igor is right, it’s always 2 months more. The reason is that if you buy during the first day of your 2-month trial period, we don’t want to steal the extra 2 months (that you didn’t use) from you.

And if you used it, yeah, it’s a bonus.

because i brought mine license from avasts website nov 25 2009 and it saids in about feb 1 2013 expires and type release i did buy a three year license for avast pro version
so i just wanted to make sure

As far as I’m aware your first avast Pro license is for 14 months, which caters for those that buy from day one, so they don’t lose out.

The time frame as far as I’m aware is for the 1st of the next month for 14 months, which since you bought a 3 year license is showing the correct expiry date.
