Avast Pro wont enable (again) !

Once again , somehow Avast Pro is not running again (turned off) , and will NOT enable even after a avast repair (and a system restore in Win7 Ult) . This happens to me about every 3-5 months and its getting tiresome . What usually fixes this is a uninstall-reinstall , BUT that wipes out all my important bookmarks in the Safety Zone browser .
Is there anyway around NOT loosing my Safety Zone bookmarks ? Seems a copy/paste to a separate and temporary folder will not work . (Using Chrome browser)

*note : nothing has changed on pc/same programs/ same os/no new installs/ Avast run about once a week .

I do like Avast Pro (95% of the time) and even just bought another 2yrs licence to be installed in about 2weeks , but man this little annoyance really drives me up a wall !!!

What is telling you that avast is not running? avast or the action center ?

Haven’t used/check the latest version, but there used to be a setting for the SafeZone that let you use things outside the SafeZone.

update :

I got things sorted out , bookmarks saved , avast was uninstalled/reinstalled . All is now working and back to normal .

Post /thread can be deleted .

To answer your question Eddy , both avast and action center reported Avast was “turned off” . I also finally figured out how to export/import SafeZone bookmarks for easy Safe Zone reinstall . Thanks anyway for your prompt reply .
