Do i have to uninstall the avast free edition to downlaod and install the avast pro addition?
I don’t think so, as far as I’m aware once you put the licence code in it will download and install the pro version.

Once you have put the license key i think you should right click to the avast icon on your task bar and go to update then upgrade all thing of it so i think its should upgrade your AV and you will go to the Pro Version.
