Avast problem

Ok now I have a new problem, Im using the quick scan of avast to make sure I don’t have any new virus well now avast is either freezing or crashing or stop responding while I’m using the quick scan. against I’m using the free version of avast, OS is a windows vista home premium.

P.S the virus from the earlier post seems to be gone because malware bytes isn’t picking it up so thank to the guys that help me with the removal of the virus.

P.S.S wait is the right forum to ask for this type of problem? Im Still new to the avast forum.

You can try the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware SUPERAntiSpyware Professional or TDSSKiller from Kaspersky . Then your uninstall the Avast! using this http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear.exe then your install the Avast! Internet Security of Avast!Pro Security. I uninstall avast and then install it back and is working fine.
