Gentlemen
Tried to purchase avast antivirus software.
Charged it to my visa account at a price of $19-something for one year, but I was unsucessful at downloading software. A charge of $52.80 USD ($54.76 CAN) was put thru my visa on April 1, 2010.
I currently am using a free download of Avast, which is running out.
How can I download software, and/or get my money back
Regards Alan Bowes

You don’t say what version it is Avast Internet Security or avast Pro ?

Contact sales (at) avast (dot) com, when purchased, where purchased, email used for purchase, and the information above about different prices.
I am not sure what I paid for. Is there a way to contact someone, so I can straighten it out?
Alan
I gave you the email to sales (corrected in my last post), but I don’t know how much they can help if you don’t know what product it was you paid for.
But I don’t know of any of the avast products being priced at $19 as you mentioned (even on offer).

Canadian here.
DavidR is good to listen to.
A charge of $54.76CAN is for avast! that you maybe authorized from a bogus site:

Best check with your Credit Card company to reverse the charges.
