I recently have been posting about Avast firewall showing up. You helped me resolve that issue. Now looking through Program Files, I find 2 entries for Avast, Avast and Avast [2]. Avast is 159 MB and Avast [2] is 60.5 MB. Since I’ve been uninstalling and reinstalling the program, is it possible I don’t need both of these? Thanx in advance.

I think the uninstallation was not proper when you tried last time. Please dont delete those folders as it may put the program into non working state. Recommended step is to use Avast uninstallion Utility and remove and reinstall avast after deleting those folders.
