Avast program stopped

I did a system restore and now the Avast program has been stopped and I can not get it to restart. Suggestions?

Are you using the server AV…??
If so, which version…??

Ok, so you’re not using the server AV and just posted in the wrong section. :wink:

Repair avast:

  1. Control Panel - Add/Remove programs - avast!
  2. Scroll down and click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.

Ok, this happened to me too. did everything you said. repair doesn’t work and neither does update. what now?
