No problem connecting to the link you posted, see attached screenshot image. Note in my image the URL also has #pc at the end and not just index in your screenshot. - this URL also works https://www.avast.com/pt-br/ without the index-tc
However, I’m not in Brazil, though that shouldn’t make a difference. I used the Firefox browser (my default) for the check.
Looks like the problem is with Chrome then. Because as soon as I read your answer I downloaded FireFox portable and through it accessed the site normally. When I enter the Americanos US website and change to BR through the website, the error returns.
Strange because Chrome, Avast SecureBrowser and Edge also have the error…all of them based on Chromium. After I updated to version 107.0.5304.107 (Official version) 64 bits the problems started.
Now I don’t know how to solve it, let alone what to do ;D
Unfortunately on my windows system I don’t use Chrome or chromium based browsers, so I can’t check to see if there is a way to increase the default number of redirects “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” or even why this would be set.
This is just one, I hope it helps, though that too also mentions clearing the browser cache, data.
Though it also mentions - “The “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECT” could result from Chrome extension also. You may disable the extensions to fix the problem.”
The strange thing is that Firefox supposedly has the same number “5” for too many, given you used Firefox portable and probably didn’t have much in the way of extensions/add-ons.
I did that and the problem remains. I have already cleared cookies and browsing data. Updated is Chrome. I’ll see if I can enter the Avast BR site through the google cache and via support notify them. :-\
I installed FireFox here and it accessed normally. I also sent Google a website crash report.
I believe the error may be in Chrome Version 107.0.5304.107 (Official version) 64 bits for Windows. Because I remember that before I used to access the site normally in version 106. Through Chrome on my cell phone, I access it normally, but after the “index” it appears #android.
This is very strange…
if I access the Avast global site and then switch to my language, the error occurs. And it only happens in Chromium-based browsers.
