And this fact makes me even more proud avast! user !
Everyone should be proud ! avast! rulez !!!
It’s just, one thing keeps bugging me… it’s not pleasant feeling to see all those nice reviews, just because most of them are still saying that avast! is not “serious” antivirus because of all those skins ??? Why should anyone care about skins ? Everyone can use skinless feature, right ? So, they have nothing to complain about any more… hehe…

Congratulations to the Avast team!!!
(Of course, we are not surprised here at all!)
I’m a very proud avast user and can wax quite evangelical about my favourite AV software.
Sasha - don’t worry about the skin comments. They just couldn’t find anything else to whine about!! AND the skins are cool!! Who’d want to be serious all the time anyway??
This is all good news as the more people using this great AV, the safer we’ll all be.
Thanks for the heads up Techie101!
Happy days to all and a big thank you to the development team.

And somehow I think that Eddy is one of the few people who could actually do it!
(seriously though, Eddy, you’re one smart fellow when it comes to computers–i.e. your Hijack This tool is fantastic–I’ve often used/recommended it to my friends)…
Tried the rest, now use the best

Merijn Bellekom, graduated at the University of Utrecht in Sience (specifically chemistry) last year and now following another study at the same university. Informatiekunde (sorry don’t know the english word for it)
I have spoken with him several times. Very friendly guy.
I have created the HJT log analyzer (and some other utils). Programmed some routines for Tasword in 1982.
Create one of the first dynamic databases applications for the ZX-Spectrum.
And did some other (crazy) stuff ;D

Ooops, I had mistakenly thought Eddy created HJT… but in any event, thanks Eddy for your HJT log analyzer–that’s a super useful tool

“Informatiekunde” must meant “School of Information”. I don’t know German, but I know our word for “kindergarden” in the U.S. came from German.
Or maybe it means “Information Technology”?
