Avast refund policy?

I try’d to buy the year prescription of the Avast antivirus. I clicked it in the program itself to renew it for 19,99
Then somehow it set me up with no license and Avast cleanup? (Normally 29,99?)

When I mail them 33 days later to fix the error (I still had the free one so did not notice it sooner)

“You are passed the 30 day period to get a refund”

I don’t want a god damn refund! I want the damn thing I singed up for and not some (to me) useless byproduct without the main scan!

A mistake in the program set me up with the wrong subscription and their standard reply is “you are 3 days late noticing it. Tough luck”

If I can’t even trust your program to redirect correctly how can I trust it to scan properly ?!?

Is there a way for Avast to fix this or is the simple reply “tough luck?”
Ps! I believe the law in my country states online purchases give you 2! Months of returnpolicy.
And so far as I recall I payed Dutch taxes so it was a sale by a Dutch company! Following Dutch laws!

No, it is not a Dutch company and it doesn’t matter who was the payment processor.
Dutch consumer law says that you can return anything within 2 weeks (14 days) and get your money back.
avast is giving users 30 days.

You need to contact avast, explain you bought the wrong product and ask them if they can do something for you.
