I have been charged twice for a 1 years subscription of 2 x $69.99? Firstly i didnt request an auto renewal of my subscription, i only wanted the 1 year and that was it. I have submitted a ticket requesting a cancellation and a refund almost 2 weeks ago and am yet to recieve a reply. If someone could shed some light on the situation it would be muchly appreciate.

You do not need to request it. You (de)select it when buying a license.
If for whatever reason you do not wish the auto-renewal anymore, you can disable it yourself.

avast is trying to handle tickets within 10 business days. Keep in mind that there was a weekend and the new year celebration.
Are you sure you don’t have two licenses ?
e.g. 2x avast av or 1x avast av and 1x avast CleanUp…
