No matter what I do, I am unable to get Windows 10 system restore to turn on.
ChatGPT says my antivirus is likely the reason, and it notes that Avast is the likely the cause. I’ve turned off self-protect mode – still no success. I don’t want to fully disable Avast. Can anyone provide a workaround or a fix?
Surely I’m not the first person to experience this problem, but the forum’s Search does not bring up anyone asking this question. Most grateful for any assistance.
