i’ve a question for Avast! developers:
why no popup when inserting a removable devices like Bitdefender,Eset,Kaspersky instead have?
they also have a scan option popup when insserting removable devices or disc.
when this option will be implemented?
Avast>Settings> Active Protection >File System Shield > Attaching
avast scans attached items for executables by default.
You can also create your own custom scan , avast > Scan > Create Custom Scan

no alert when inserting usb drive,or dvd etc.
other AV have this alerts.why Avast not?

I have no idea.
Personally I see no reason for a pop up, the scan takes place and you get notified if there is an issue.
Previously people have been complaining about too many popups and shield choices/settings.
Avast makes things simpler and users want more settings and popups …
