I have installed free Avast inter net security version 7.0.1474.0 on 26.11.12. I have installed 32 bit Windows Home Premium in my lap top. Avast is not functioning. When I ask for scan it is messaging ‘unable to start scan-there is no end point available from the end point mapper’.There is no scan log; update engine and virus definition engine are not working. I also attempted several times to un install the avast with avast uninstall tool in safe mode as per instruction. But each time, after restart, the lap top starts only in safe mode. I also changed to restart in mormal mode using ‘msconfig’ too. But the results were unsuccessful. Then I have to go to recovery mode to re-set the lap top by re-setting the date earlier to unstallation time of avast software. Due to the presence of avast windows 10 could not be installed. Will someone help me to come out of this trouble?
