Not sure if Avast was updated or what but it Removed MS Edge Passwords any workaround for this? Everyone on MS forums say its Avast but no one has a fix.
What makes you think it’s Avast?
I uses Avast and Edge and all my passwords are still saved in Edge.

Everyone on MS forums say its Avast, cant import passwords, auto fill don’t show even after reinstalling edge
As stated not what I’m experiencing.
You don’t say what Avast Program/s you are using ?
I can’t think of any components in the Antivirus that might even consider the removal of MS Edge passwords.
However, I don’t use Edge having tried to disable/remove it when it first came out in win10
Hi,
It sounds more like the passwords feature in Edge is not working as opposed to Avast having removed your passwords.
Did you receive any Avast notifications? Please have a look at the “Blocked apps” and see if Edge is on the list. https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Use-Antivirus-blocked-allowed-apps/
I would think it’s Avast’s fault and not MS. This feature has been working for me and I just installed the paid version of Avast, and it was still working. Then I ran the various scans/performance enhancers that it came with and now MS Edge no longer auto populates log-in information or passwords, even though the settings are set to do so. That would have been too much of a coincidence that everything was working fine for a week after installing Avast until I ran those add-ons (PC Speedup, Disc Cleaner, etc.). A Google search to try and fix the issue led me here, but there doesn’t seem to be any solutions available.
Have you check your settings in Edge?
Type the following into the address bar - edge://settings/passwords
That should show you who or what controls your passwords.
I use a password manager and mine shows that it controls my passwords.
Hope that helps.
