Hi,
I just opened Geogebra 5 for the first time in a long time, and after about a minute’s use, an “Infection blocked” Avast message popped up with these details:
URL: http://jars.geogebra.org/webstart/5.0/geogebra-jars.zip|geogebra_main.jar|org\geogebra\desktop\i\a.class
Infection: Java:Agent-CWF [Trj]
Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoGebra 5.0\jre\bin\javaw.exe
I have JDK 1.7 + 1.8 and JRE 1.8 installed. No virus found in a subsequent scan of the Geogebra 5 folder.
Should I be worried?

TrendMicro is also detecting it as malware.
It can however be a false positive.
I suggest you submit it to avast and let them have a look at it.
When/if needed they will change the detection.

Thanks for the quick response.
Which file exactly should I submit? GeoGebra.exe, javaw.exe or something else?

Send the geogebra-jars.zip file or provide them a link to this thread.
Link submitted to Avast. Thanks for clarifying.
It will be fixed in next VPS update, sorry for your inconvenience.
