After almost a month with a new computer, Avast popped up that it’s time to renew the subscription, after which I picked the free option and “no thanks” to the trial offer.
A day or two later the same popup came up, after ignoring it the program stopped due to the subscription ending. After re-subscribing a second time the same way I did the first time the program resumed.

Does this happen sometimes or is this totally abnormal?

Not sure how that answers the question.
It doesn’t require registration, but it does popup and prompt you to choose between the free and paid version. My question is why did it happen twice in a row a day (or two) apart.

Not a question I can answer. It hasn’t happened to me at this point.

I have a similar issue. I cant register my a/c nor log-in. I tried both wifi and LAN, none of it works.
I also tried to re-install avast, it still doesnt work. if the problem goes on, I will not get any protection from avast. :cry:
