Avast Safe Zone - Pay Mode

I’m running Windows 10, Avast Internet Security and Chrome browser Everything is up to date. Every time I try to do online banking through the Pay Mode it does not work. Surely I cannot be the only user that is experiencing this problem? To my mind its a vital issue that should have been sorted out already. Come on Avast. When you introduce a new feature surely it must be working properly.

It is not possible to test software on billions of different configurations before releasing a final version.
If you would simulate all possible combinations it would even take the Tianhe-2 years, making the software obsolete when it is finally released.
So yes, there always can be things that are not working (properly).

There are some posts where people explained what they have changed in the SafeZone Browser that made their bank-site work without a problem.
I suggest you look for them and try the changes.
If they don’t work for you, tell what bank it is and what the exact problem is.

I have the same problem. Windows 7, Service Pack 1. It used to crash each time I tried to log in from within Avast. I just go to Avast → Tools → SafeZone Browser. And then trying to use Pay Mode there. It used to crash the first time each time, but when I clicked Try Again then it worked. The last 2 weeks or something like that it doesn’t work at all.

And there is one more thing. When I’m trying to open SafeZone Browser I’m getting a message:
“A new version of SafeMode Browser is ready to be installed. Do you want to install the update now?”

Whatever I click, Yes or No, nothing happens. It just opens the browser and that’s it. The message started appearing about the same time as the Pay Mode stopped working.

What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)

OS/SP Windows 7, 1. I wrote it in the beginning of my original texts. You must be skimming through them real fast.

Avast Internet Security 11.12245

btw, I have problems with verification. I’m a bit color blind and have problems reading your letters. I was trying to listen to them, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I hope I can manage to send this text…

I think I had Trend Micro before on this computer, but I’m not sure anymore. It was a while. But if I had then I uninstalled it properly.

Hello i also have a similar problem with my internet banking in pay mode. I log into my banking site using the safe zone browser. Then as soon as i try i click on one of my accounts to begin a transaction. I instantly get the message your session has expired please log out and log in to try again.

Windows XP Service Pack 3
Have used avast approximately the last 8 years so i have never had any other av installed since. Both my Desktop and Notebook have been formatted and the OS Re installed at-least twice in the last 5-6 years, all win updates are up to date right up to when microsoft pulled the plug on XP.

My Version of Avast is Avast Premier (current version 11.1.2245)
I have spyware blaster free installed
Addons within avast are:
Adblock Plus
Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon
FoxClocks
Location Guard
Avast Online Security
Avast Safeprice

I have the same error with my notebook as well and its security config is as above also.

One last thing, My web rep thing where you can click on to rate a site as good or bad is blank all i have are the blank outlined boxes with the thumbs up logo at the top and the Avast logo down the bottom. The boxes showing what has or has not been blocked have no writing to the left of them what so ever.

Thank you for any help that can be provided.

Every time I try to go to online banking Pay Mode comes on and it never works. I have to try over and over and over again and once in a while it works. What is the problem? Am I doing something wrong?
