Avast SafeZone Browser - How do you like it?

Took a while to work out the drag and drop system with the bookmark bar from importing, but I think at this rate, you guys are onto a real winner with this browser.
One thing that ALWAYS happens to me is with Facebook - when im commenting on a post, it always seems to crash.

Can I suggest once it gets out of beta, offering it to people general? I think the only thing missing is slightly better ad blocking support.

thanks for your positive feedback! We already work on the crashes - they used to appear on Facebook or Google Doc. sites. SafeZone browser will be part of our premium products - IS, Pro and Premier.

Can you give us bit more info of what you mean by slightly better ad blocking support. SafeZone Ad Blocker works with EasyList so if you see that some Ads are not blocked you can either import/use some additional filter (EasyList specific for some country or region) or block the Ad manually.

I realized that once I fooled around with it more. The crashes are random with Facebook, I wish I knew what was causing it (maybe a 3rd party addon from another browser i dont know) but it seems to be common with that site.

Does the Safezone browser get updated with each Beta release or do we need to update it seperately?

Well, there’s no New Shielded Tab in my main menu just New Tab, New Window and New Pay Mode Tab. Noticing someone else’s post I took a look at the Task Manager, I’ve 28 instances of Safe Zone listed there. All rather frustrating and bewildering. Windows 8.1

I like the new Safezone and the way ‘pay mode’ is built in to the Browser.
Unfortunately my Premier version is installed on an old Dell OS and so NG doesn’t come into play and thus no “Shielded Mode”
No worries, still like the new Safezone Browser.

Performing a full shutdown rather than the usual hybrid shutdown (Win 8.1) seems to have solved the missing New Shield Window option.
One big improvement, I can now use my password manager, Password Safe, without it freezing the browser which it did in the previous version all too frequently.

Not much, Passwords not working even after exporting from lastpass to the service. Kinda loppy, Need to find a better alternative browser to suite the need well. Sticking with Firefox, Vivaldi and Torch.
Good that it’s comes with the product any way. May come in hand some time when the other browsers fail to do the job, I prefer Firefox for all the purpose.

Hi, this is not the right way how to do it. It will install the browser but there will be almost no interaction with Avast. Consequence of this could be that Pay mode will not work.

I recommend to perform repair installation.

It is not part of the browser and it will not be changed in near future. Adobe Flash player is 3rd party product and you can install it manually if you want. Please be aware of possible security features which may come with using the Flash player plugin.

Pay mode doesa not run automatically on bank sites. Not having a virtual desk top as in previous versions of avast seems to me a weakness in security and a tradeoff to make avast work with windows 10.

When I’m using safezone, Pay mode loads automatically when I log into my bank. however, en enterin all my login details, it catapults me back to the initial login page - so I’m not able to use it for banking! How do I rectify this? Have tried repair to no avail

im getting the exact same thing happening with Lloyds Bank in the UK. after 3 attempts to log in i have now been locked out of my account which im not happy about.
this has only happened since the new safe zone was installed.
the bank says there is nothing they can do but send a new log in password by post which will take upto 5 days so i may not get it until after christmas.
not happy.
