Avast sandbox and safezone (64 bit)

I am wanting to upgrade to Avast Internet Security and had a question. I am running Windows 7 64 bit and was wondering if safezone and sandbox were fully functional for the 64 bit operating system. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Tech! I noticed you are running Internet security, any performance (cpu impact) difference between the free and internet security?

Well, not by themselves, I mean. The free is an antivirus, the paid is a suite (antivirus + firewall). None of them is a resource hog. But, of course, the suite needs more resources than the antivirus only. You can disable Windows Firewall with AIS though.

I use SafeZone and Sandbox on Win 7 64 bits. It only works with Private Firewall and of course with Windows Firewall. I almost got crazy in trying to make it run with Outpost. The best for you is to keep the Free edition I think! 8)

That of course rather depends on the firewall that the OP is using, if he was using/upgrading to avast Pro.

However, in this case totally irrelevant, as the OP is considering purchase of the Avast Internet Suite. There would be something strange if the sandbox and safezone didn’t work with the avast firewall ???
