Avast Sandbox & W 64 Bit

I have had to remove all three browsers from running sandboxed. To do so I had to uninstall Avast Pro 7 and reinstall it. I have read of others with sandbox problems. On another forum I read that Windows 64 bit caused major problems for a sandbox. That particular AV had discontinued using a sandbox in the 2013 version.

I am wondering if the problems with some of us Avast users is a result of running a 64 bit OS?
Has there been any investigation of that?

How about a couple of users with 32 bit and a couple with 64 bit who are having problem indicate that they are having problems with the sandbox, and what OS you are using. I know I am not the only person having sandbox problems.

I am not convinced that the developers have explored the 64 bit situation.
