Avast Sandbox

I have avast installed now.

And i have unchecked that avast temporaly saves the data inside the sandbox in a special storage.

And i have checked that everything , cookies , history , favorites , and extensions and all , that that is not virtualizised.

But i am still protected if i stumble upon a nasty exploit or other malware right ?

The browser itself is protected right , but if i download a malicious extenion , then it wont protect me right ?

And i will get tracking cookies because its not virtualised but tracking cookies do not bother me.

Is this all right ?
Am i still protected from malicious attacks inside my browser ?

Geen zorgen. Avast doet nog steeds zijn werk. Je systeem is nog steeds beschermd.

Still I’m not fully aware of the functions of auto sandbox in Avast! free… ???
It works in my system. When I open VCD cutter avast prompt me to run it in auto sandbox.
If there is no threat detected while running in auto sandbox, will it be removed from sandbox.
(Will avast show any notification about whether it is harmful/not ?).
Is auto sandbox provides any protection while I’m browsing?.
Is there any problem in enabling auto sandbox while I’m running my browser in Sandboxie free…?

  1. if vcd cutter is sandboxed it will be deleted on restart and you will not be able to use it on restert…

2)If a threat detected inside the sandbox, it will be blocked and vcd cutter will be deleted on restart…

3)auto sandbox will sandbox only unknown applications not your browsing or your browser(it is available only in pro)

4)There is no conflicts between avast auto sandbox and sandboxie. only if you use the applications seperately… That is, if auto sandbox sandboxed an application which is already sandboxed by sandboxie, this could make a big mess…

5)You cannot always expect avast officials to reply all of the posts, they have other jobs to do… :stuck_out_tongue:
