I am having a problem with my computer. I am getting the mentioned in subject message from avast!, and also saying that there are too many identical e-mails in appointed time, without an e-mail software open! I am getting this messages all the time to the limit were I cannot use the computer. I believe it is a virus, however when I scan the computer for viruses while booting I am not getting any messages that a virus has been found.

You appear to have a spambot trojan in your system.
What is your OS ?
If XP download, install, update and run Ewido, preferably in safe mode.
Ewido Security Suite If using winXP. Or a-Squared free if using win98/ME.
If you have received a connection timeout warning also please post the full details or post a screenshot, this should mention the program causing the timeout, which should be blocked from accessing the internet by your firewall. You do have a firewall don’t you, if so what one ?
