Avast says is about to expire but I’ve paid one mounth ago for two years.
What can I do?
Avast says is about to expireWhat expired? Key expired or avast expired? Are you using Avast Pro Edition?
Did you insert the new key?
See the tutorial: http://www.avast.com/files/tutorials/insert_key.htm

Hi,
I’m using 4.x Home Version on an HP laptop with AMD 64 processor, running XP Pro 64 bit “Corporate Edition”. I am a home user and not using this for a business. Vista Ultimate 64 bit and Avast were quite happy together and never had any issues. However, I have now had to install new keys twice (about once weekly) and the expiry warning has just popped-up again. Is this because Avast Home version is set to “nag” when used for this free version on a supposed enterprise OS? I’m only using this at home as XP 64 bit runs considerably faster than Vista 64 bit. Can anyone confirm my suspicions? Does anyone have a a work-around short of a paid subscription or using a different AV solution?
Thank you for any assistance rendered.
I don’t think so. XP is the OS period. If you’re using Windows Server that would be the problem.
Can you try an installation from the scratch?
- Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
- Boot.
- Download the latest version of Avast Uninstall and use it for complete uninstallation.
- Boot.
- Install again the latest avast! version.
- Boot.
- Check and post the results.
