Each time I do a full scan,when it finishes and I get the results they always show a panel which states “unable to scan” with a substantial panel beneath it. The unable to scan, are c/program files, c/document files and, beneath it says “listed lines 247”
However,when I go to the Avast main scanning screen,it states “number of infected files 0”
Can anyone help?
There is nothing unusual about it as has been explained on this board many times already.
These are just password protected or encrypted files.
Avast can not scan files if it doesn’t have the password to open them

avast! also tells you why the files can’t be scanned, expand the column heading to see the full text, the fact that they can’t be scanned doesn’t mean they are infected.
