Avast scan

I have a sceduled scan that runs every Friday at the same time. Tonight the scan said it was running but it remained at 0%. Is it Avast or is it a setting. I haven’t changed anything. Any help will be appreciated.

it eveidently isn’t scanning, is there something wrong with avast

I have the case with my schedules scans that the popup comes out and when I click details the avast! UI seems frozen. Anyways the scan always run through at the end… What you can do is repair avast! and schedule a scan for tomorrow and see if everything run as it should be.

I would go to control panel…uninstall a program…right click uninstall Avast & choose repair…It worked for me! The other thing is you have something real nasty on your computer…!

I shut my computer down and restarted. Instead of trying to run the scan before doing the repair, I did the repair and it did scan. Thank you both for your suggestions, don’t know if the repair fixed it or just restarting it. I will do a scheduled scan for tomorrow to see if it runs ok. Thanks again!
