I know that avast has skin to download.
But i was wondering if they can change there interface. coz when i go to the scanner it looks like a media player.
i guess they do this for the antivirus to be lighter ???
Could/would they change it to a normal antivirus interface?
Run ashSimp2.exe (the skinless tool).
The Enhanced User Interface is only available on Professional version.
A friend also wanted a normal interface so I show him the “Blue eXPe” skin, and he like that a lot.
But for me, the good-looking skin aVist, look normal 
And before that I used the “MacLover OS X” skin.
But it’s all about our personal taste.
The worst will be a resident (on-access) that takes that much resources.
The on-demand scanning is not that problematic, don’t you think so?
