Avast Secure Browser keeps getting uninstalled and does not appear in apps list.

The problem started when the browser suddenly closed on me. When I reopened it, the icon on the task bar was gone and replaced by a placeholder one. I then closed the browser and tried to reopen it only for the browser to be completely gone from my PC. I downloaded the installer and managed to get the browser up and running again, only for Windows to not even recognize the browser being installed anywhere, leaving me unable to set it as a default browser or even open it again if I closed it. Activating the setup program manages to get the browser to run again, but it still has the same issues.

Does anyone know what is happening and how I can fix it?

Managed to fix the issue by finding that the Avast Secure browser was actually still listed in the apps list despite not showing up anywhere else. By uninstalling it directly from Settings, I was able to reinstall the browser from the setup application and it works perfectly fine now.
