Avast Secure Browser is much slower than other browsers. Wondering if it’s because it uses Privacy Guard instead of Avast AntiTrack. Been using Secure Browser for many years with Avast Ultimate paid subscription. I check for updates manually daily, currently Version 139.0.31974.157, and periodically clean with privacy cleaner, Avast Cleanup, Ccleaner. Problem started a few months ago, before that there were no problems. It’s especially bad on shopping sites such as ebay and grocery stores. Bank mode is slightly faster, but still slow compared to Chrome, Firefox, and DDG (which doesn’t seem to use either Privacy Guard or AntiTrack). Checked prior posts on this forum of this problem, couldn’t find a solution. Just did Speedtest: 217 Mbps down, 17 up.
