Avast Secure Line

The past few weeks my PC locks up, mainly using Microsoft Outlook 2010. I finally tracked the problem after getting a message “Avast Secure Line Disconnected”. Researching the Avast website I see a feature that you have to pay extra for that gives you some kind of secure line. I have no idea what that is, and why my PC apparently thinks I have it. How do I turn this feature off?

A limited trial version is a part of the Avast default installation.
If you want full use of this service, you need to pay for it.
If you don’t want it, remove it through programs and features by selecting Avast and then selecting change.
Unselect the feature and reboot your system after the change happens.
