I have an tray icon that says SecureLine is disconnected. Looking at it appears that SecureLine is part of the paid package but I have Avast! free. Why am I receiving this icon message then and what is Secureline?

I seem to be getting the same issue now too.
If you open Avast! and click the gear icon on the right (version 11 GUI) you can untick the box to have Secureline icon tray appear which will remove the icon. My guess is that Version 11 comes with that box ticked to try and get users to buy it.
On second look I can’t even find the box I unticked and still dont understand what secureline really is and if it’s free or not as it’s enabled in another part of the GUI so maybe someone could explain both of these to me.
