Avast SecureLine Has Encountered a Technical Issue

I received the above message today after checking into a hotel. It’s the first time I have seen it. I went online with it yesterday briefly in an airport with no problem. The hotel’s internet connection is kind of funky, very roundabout way of getting on through their log-in page. It’s a small, independent hotel in Barcelona. I’ve rebooted, and I still get the message.

Try one of the other seervers.
If they fail also it is likely the network setup in the hotel that is blocking things.

But, anyway, it all of a sudden began working again today,
