Avast Secureline - 'Sorry, something went wrong...'

Hey people,
So I started my free 60 day trial of Secureline yesterday and have been having some problems activating the product. It seems no matter how I try to activate it, I get the error message “Sorry, something went wrong…”. I have tried creating an account and using my digital license, I have tried downloading my license file, and I have tried activating with my key, but no matter what I try (including re-installing the program), I still get the error. Does anybody know of a solution?
