Hi all,

I did the test: I enabled avast Online Security 9.0.2006.53 in Firefox, AddThis’ buttons can NOT be displayed on my site. Those buttons are OK while AOS addon is disabled.

what’s the fix then?

I have this problem too. If you browse a site containing the AddThis buttons in FireFox 25.0 with the Avast Online Security 9.0.2006.53 add-on enabled then the buttons don’t display. This is a big problem for me since I am currently developing a site that uses the AddThis buttons. I am going to have to add a script that detects FireFox and determines if the AddThis script loaded. If the script is missing I will be forced to display a pop-up message asking the user if the Avast add-on is installed and recommend they either swap browsers or disable the plugin.

Any sign of a fix for this issue. Have the development team even managed to reproduce it yet?

Update to 9.0.2007 and see if you get the same problem re-occur.
