yesterday, i uninstalled avast security for os x via the app’s ‘uninstall’ functionality.
some avast process is still invoking curl to connect to shepherd.avast.com thismorning, though. so the uninstallation doesn’t seem to have been complete.
how can i locate and remove this unauthorized guest from my mac? i’m running os x catalina.

i’m very, very happy with the premium version of avast security i’m running on my windows machine.
i wish the os x version of the security suite ran as smoothly and as issue-free.
