I have a Sony XBR x850B 2014 TV and it has wi-fi direct.
I also have a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet ( original version ).
On the Surface forums they say they display their Surface on their TV.
I start the TV and go to the INPUTS and select Mirroring. Then on the Surface I go into Devices and select Project and select Duplicate.
The TV says it is mirroring the Surface but I just get black screen.
But, yesterday, I disabled AVAST’s shields and, for just a moment, I saw the Surface’s screen displayed on the TV and then the screen went black again.
I believe AVAST Premier is somehow interfering with wi-fi direct connections.
Can someone tell me how to get it to allow wi-fi direct connections?
